Substitute Teacher Job Posting

SPECIAL EDUCATION (Substitute) TEACHER needed immediately for the Alternative Education Program for the Warren (PA) County School District to finish out the school year.  The program is through Beacon Light Behavioral Health Services.  Students are kept current with the academics that they would have been participating in at their home school; the computer program NovaNet is utilized for credit recovery.  The program currently has 13 students enrolled: six students are in Grades 10 – 12; one is in 7th Grade; and six are in the 9th Grade.  The Special Education Teacher would be responsible for Language Arts, Science, Independent Living Studies and Art.  One other teacher instructs the other academics; and two Behavioral Technicians are classroom aids that help keep the students on task and behaviorally appropriate.
