Congratulations Kayla Hardner!

Congratulations to our very own Kayla Hardner who has been nominated by Gannon University for national recognition in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

The selection committee was impressed by her academic excellence and participation and leadership in extracurricular activities and community service.

The task of the selection committee was extremely difficult as many competitive applications were received.  Kayla is one of 23 Gannon students that were nominated for national Who’s Who recognition and we’re so proud of Kayla and her accomplishments!

Splash Lagoon Fun Day on April 14!

Want to have a little fun before it’s time to settle down for the end of the semester placements and finals?  Future Educators Association is hosting a social event at Splash Lagoon and we are inviting all Education Majors.  You are invited to join us for this event!!

Our event will be on Sunday, April 14th. The time is tentatively set from 1-5 pm and will include a pizza and pop party.  Splash Lagoon is 84 degrees year round and has a large wave pool, hot tubs, lazy river, and water slides.  The cost to attend is $20 (which is a reduction from the regular price of $29.95).  We request that you drop off a $5 deposit to save your space by Wednesday, March 20.  You can pay the other $15 any time before April 10.

We need your response and deposit by Wednesday, March 20th.  If you put down a deposit and then can't go, you are still required to pay $15 as we must pay for the number of reservations we made, not the actual attendance on the day of the event.

Email Lauren Bennett at bennett030@knights.gannon.edu to reserve your space.  You may leave your deposit (or full payment) with Lauren or Dr. Forbes.  Please place your deposit (or full payment) in a sealed envelope clearly labeled “Splash Lagoon” and your name.  In addition, although this is an event for education majors, we do have some limited space for non-education majors available.  Questions can be directed to Lauren or Dr. Forbes.

Hope you see you there!
