Education Internship Available

Dear Students:

A local TV station is seeking an Education Intern to aid in the creating of content for “Ready Set Learn”, a  segment that airs on the morning news at (about) 6:15 and 7:45. There are also teasers at 5:55 and 6:25.  The intern will be researching for content and creating lesson plans.  The idea behind the feature is to give parents information on how they can continue the educational process that's begun at school, at home.   There is also the opportunity to appear on air (if comfortable doing so).

Requirements:

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater

Available 15 – 20 hours a week

Excellent communication skills

Experience in developing lesson plans

Interested students are asked to contact Barbara Zarnick or Cheryl Rink in The Center for Experiential Education at 871-7680 or via email.  An approved resume is required.
