Waldameer Park Field Trip Opportunity

Attention Education Majors

The R. Benjamin Wiley Charter School is seeking two or three volunteers for a May 20 field trip to Waldameer Park in Erie, PA

Volunteers would meet the teacher, Mrs. Stephanie Krzak, at the charter school (located at 1446 East Lake Rd., Erie, PA 16507) around 9 am.  Mrs. Krzak's students are 7th and 8th grade students. They will be doing physical science activities in the park while enjoying the rides. Volunteers would be working with and supervising small groups of students. The group will return to the charter school around 2:30 pm. This is a great opportunity, especially for middle level and secondary majors.

Please contact Dr. Forbes (forbes001) if you are able to assist. She will provide you with the activities packet in advance as well as contact information for Mrs. Krzak.
